London is a tough city. 🛠️
Those who have their careers forged under her grey skies, are a different breed - they are world class, with hardened edges.
Londoners come from all corners of the earth and have survived many challenges and recessions.
Many try to succeed in London, many fail. Doubt us at your peril. Crossing us is risky. London Doesn't Play, London Doesn't Whisper. 🇬🇧
A poem for those you doubt:
Steel veins beneath a concrete skin,
A warrior clan lives deep within
The City, crowned and battle-scarred,
Breeds titans forged from working hard.
From Threadneedle’s savage clatter
To tower glass that doesn’t shatter,
The best are made, not born, right here,
World-class, without a trace of fear.
Try your luck, step through the fray,
You’ll find this isn’t child’s play;
Soft hearts don’t last, weak hands get crushed,
By market masters, quick and hushed.
A thousand deals before the dawn,
A million rivals dead and gone
Here, in London’s ruthless hold,
Ambition blooms and futures fold.
Mess with us and learn the price:
We’re sharpened steel, cold as ice;
You’ll leave broken, battered, blind
Crushed beneath the City’s grind.
Leave your dreams outside these gates,
Or learn, too late, what power waits;
London leads, the world obeys
Among these wolves, no lamb survives our ways.
