A dynamic commercial law firm is seeking a seasoned production contracting lawyer. This role offers the opportunity to develop deep sector expertise while working with a diverse client base on complex production-related legal matters. Both permanent and consultant arrangements will be considered for the right candidate.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Advise on production agreements across all complexity levels (CR2–CR5). 2. Draft and negotiate studio hire, commissioning, and co-production agreements. 3. Conduct chain of title reviews and manage IP clearance processes. 4. Manage CIPC engagement and regulatory compliance on production matters.

REQUIREMENTS

1. Admitted attorney with 6+ years' post-qualification experience in production/ entertainment law. 2. Demonstrated expertise in production contracting and chain of title work. 3. Strong track record advising on commissioning and co-production arrangements. 4. Commercially minded with ability to manage complex multi-party transactions.

KEY SKILLS

1. Production agreement drafting and negotiation. 2. Chain of title and IP clearance expertise. 3. Regulatory and CIPC compliance knowledge. 4. Client advisory and relationship management.
